The Coast

Went to the Coast yesterday, so needed to see the ocean and get out of Fresno. It was amazing how cool it was near the ocean and it felt sooo nice.
Anyways went there at night so I could watch the sunset. It was so very pretty too.
I got to play in the water by way of the waves being too big and crashed into me!!!
Also stopped at the Madonna Inn which I still say I want to stay in SOOOO bad lol.

Life has been pretty boring lately sadly not much to update on. Working at the prison and started my other practicum which seems like it will be good and a bit more chill then any of the others I have been to. I can wear flip flops!!!!!

Trip Home

So I went home June 4th - 9th. When on got in on the 4th, after a delay in Newark I got to have lunch with my mom and bro then I quickly headed to Boston to see my girls. We went to Brown Sugar because I can't go to Boston without going to Brown Sugar. I have found decent Thai out here but nothing compares to my Drunken Noodle I can get there. We then went to see Sex and the City, which was awesome. It was such a good movie, it was a good ending to a awesome series. I have heard there may be a sequel which would be great too.

The rest of my time home was spent with family doing graduation events, and preparing and all that fun stuff. Graduation was so much fun and my brother made a good speech, short and to the point and mentioned me so it was awesome!!!

Friday was the grad and we did that then Saturday was the party. I got to see a lot of relatives I have not seen in a while and my brothers cake was fantastic!!!

It was a marble cake with a vanilla cream filling so good and was a super cute cake!

The trip back to Fresno was a fiasco but it was probably an omen because I hate it here so much but oh well I am back!

Amazing how things become reality

So I thought I had done a blog about the ridiculous gas prices I saw on my drive to Vegas last August and in fact I did. August 11, 2007 is the original post. But here is the picture again.

I remember the shock and amazement I went through when I saw gas over 4 dollars, now the average gas here is more than the high test stuff in the picture. I would be thrilled to see gas for just 4.29 at this point. It is actually more expensive now for our low grade then the high test in the picture.
